Here is a quick note on initial ratings for reruns of “Celebrity Family Feud”, which, as of now, have replaced Jimmy Kimmel’s currently-suspended late night show:
The overnight ratings for the September 18, 2025, *Celebrity Family Feud* rerun in the *Jimmy Kimmel Live!* slot (11:35 p.m. ET on ABC) have been released as of this morning. According to Nielsen data reported by Deadline, the episode drew 2.818-49—easily topping Kimmel’s recent averages of about 1.1 million viewers and a 0.15 in the demo. This marks a roughly 150% lift in total viewership and a 200% jump in the key demo, validating the pre-air speculation that a low-cost rerun could outperform the suspended late-night show.
Ouch. Sort of makes you wonder why they paid Kimmel all that money, doesn’t it?
Will the ratings stay as disparate over time? And if not, will the difference lessen or increase? No one knows for sure. But there they are now.
Stay tuned.
