BAD NEWS FOR THE REAL GENOCIDE PEOPLE

Israel is not committing, and has no intention of committing genocide on the Gazan population.

But hamas and its allies certainly do.

As I have pointed out many times on this blog, the hamas covenant (which has been in existence for 37 years and is fully available to all the “journalists” whose commentaries on Israel completely ignore it) calls for the obliteration of Israel (second paragraph) and the death of all Jews – not just in Israel but everywhere (article 7).

Not surprisingly therefore, given the rhetoric and behavior of Israel-hating countries, including (among many others) Iran, Yemen, Ireland (yes, Ireland) etc., a great many people would like – make that love – to see Israel gone, with many wishing its demise would entail the hamas dream of total genocide.

But there is a bit of a problem:  Israel, apart from being a world leader in medical, scientific, digital and agricultural technology, also is a world leader in developing defensive systems that protect the country.

And here is its latest advance, via Joshua Klein’s article at breitbart.com:

Israel announced Wednesday the operational deployment of the Iron Beam, the world’s first high-energy laser defense system ready for combat, a breakthrough officials hailed as a strategic game-changer in modern warfare.

Rafael Advanced Defense Systems, in partnership with Israel’s Ministry of Defense, confirmed completion of final development trials for the Iron Beam 450, demonstrating the ability to intercept rockets, mortars, and drones “with unmatched speed, precision, and near-zero cost per engagement.”

Defense Minister Israel Katz called the achievement a “historic milestone” and emphasized its strategic significance. “Achieving operational laser interception capability places Israel at the forefront of global military technology,” Katz said. “This is not only a moment of national pride but a major enhancement of our defense envelope, enabling rapid, precise interception at marginal cost.”

The economic implications are stark. Each Iron Dome interceptor costs roughly $50,000, while an Iron Beam laser shot costs around $5. Officials stress this is crucial in Israel’s multi-front war against Hamas, Hezbollah, and Iran-backed militias in Syria, Iraq, and Yemen, where tens of thousands of projectiles have been fired.

Is this real?  Can it possibly be?

If the answers to those two questions are yes and yes, this truly is a game-changer.  A major (to say the very least) protector against the genocide so many in this world would dance in the streets about if it involved Israel/Jews.

And if Israel shares some of all of this technology with its most valued ally, The United States?  How valuable would that be to us?  Would you put it somewhere in the neighborhood of incalculable?  I know I would.

Finally, to the folks who wish death to Israel, death to Jews in general and death to America…

…as we used to say in Brooklyn and Queens where I grew up, tough padookies.  Rough darts.  But here’s our board game as a consolation prize.  Now go fuck yourselves.
