Let’s start by defining terms:
-A SIP is someone who is either too Stupid, and/or too Ignorant, and/or too Partisan to evaluate things clearly, and does nothing but yell out whatever he/she is told to yell out.
-A POPPO is someone who is Professional Oppressed/Perpetually Pissed Off, whose life is fulfilled by angrily yelling out whatever slogans he/she is told to yell out.
As you might guess, a great many SIPS are POPPOs as well.
This leads me to the 15 or so (from the sound of things) SIPs/POPPOs, and the drumbeater helping them along, who decided it would be a great idea to verbally assault President Trump as he ate dinner at a public restaurant this week.
Did you watch/listen to the video? Was it obnoxious enough for you?
Now let’s dissect the slogan the SIPs and POPPOs screamed out over and over again, like trained robots: “Free D.C., Free Palestine, Trump is the hitler of our time”
-Free D.C.?: What did Trump do to get nailed with this attack? He sent in the National Guard to quell D.C.’s crime problem…which worked so effectively that even the Democrat Mayor of D.C., Muriel Bowser, who was vociferously against the deployment is now thanking him because crime as lessened so dramatically.
-Free Palestine?: This one is a personal favorite of mine. The fact is that there is one free place in Palestine (which these SIPs/POPPOs don’t seem to realize is a land area and has never in history been a country). It is a place where Jews and Muslims live in relative peace, where they all can vote – men and women both – in free multi-party elections, and where the clothing almost all women wear during these “protests” would be acceptable/would not cause them to get the absolute crap beaten out of them within a minute (and probably a lot worse). That one free place is…Israel. If they knew a thing about that part of the world they would know that. But there are few things discussed with a greater degree of certainty and ignorance than the Middle East, and these SIPs/POPPOs seem determined to prove it.
-Trump is the hitler of our time?: Er…didn’t Trump orchestrate peace agreements (and we can only hope they are lasting ones) between Rwanda and Republic of Congo (signed in the Oval office, with both heads of state thanking Trump), Armenia and Azerbaijan (signed in the Oval office, with both heads of state thanking Trump), Thailand and Cambodia, and having a hand in calming down several other hostile situations? Isn’t he trying to effect peace, however impossible the two countries make it, between The Ukraine and Russia? Wasn’t he trying to negotiate with hamas – an international terrorist group that is committed in writing to genocide against Israel and to Jews everywhere around the world? That’s some hitler.
See, this is what SIPs and POPPOs do. Their behavior requires neither knowledge nor class, just a loud voice and a need to “belong” – which they get by being one of the crowd screaming out their insults.
I wonder how many of them will eventually grow up and realize how ridiculous they were.
Oh, by the way, Trump – probably because he has become used to SIPs and POPPOs acting this way – seemed to enjoy his dinner. The only people who were affected were the restaurant guests, regardless of their politics, who just went there to have a nice meal.
