Regarding Jeffrey Epstein: what is Donald Trump being accused of?
I have asked this question maybe a dozen times over the past months and I have yet to see, hear or read an answer from any of the media that cannot stop “reporting” about Trump’s association with Epstein.
Here is the latest episode in this non-scandal, from Ashley Brasfield’s article for dailycaller.com. Please note that I have put the last paragraph in bold print, because it is something I have also pointed out repeatedly:
Former Attorney General William “Bill” Barr said he never saw any evidence that President Donald Trump intervened or committed a crime relating to Jeffrey Epstein’s case, a source familiar told the Daily Caller.
During Monday’s closed-door deposition before the House Oversight Committee, Barr testified Trump never offered any input or direction regarding Jeffrey Epstein’s criminal case or his death.
Barr cooperated fully in the deposition, responding to questions from both Republican and Democratic members and their staff, the source told the Caller.
Barr added that if any incriminating evidence against Trump existed, the Biden Department of Justice (DOJ) would have already released it, the source stated.
A reminder: Bill Barr was once a Trump ally. But, for years, he has been much more a Trump nemesis than anything else. If Barr had the goods on Trump he would have no problem providing them.
Repeating the point made by Bill Barr…and Ken Berwitz: Joe Biden and his puppeteers had complete access to every bit of information about Trump/Epstein for four full years, including the entire 2024 presidential campaign. If there was anything that either directly incriminated Trump, indirectly did so, or could have been contorted into something that did so, they would have jumped all over it in a split second.
I keep waiting for some of the media, which have breathlessly reported every bit of “news” about Trump/Epstein these past months, to inform their readers/viewers/listeners that no one has leveled even one specific charge against Trump. But I guess that isn’t important enough to make note of.
And, yes, they still pretend they are “journalists”.
