Yesterday I blogged about the four safe-seat Democrat House members who headed to El Salvador to meet with kilmar abrego garcia.
The Republican National Congressional Committee (RNCC) has offered to pay for their trip. Really. But there are conditions.
Here is the RNCC statement:
-Democrats appear to believe the public is appalled that kilmar abrego garcia was deported. They want this pillar of the community – and, presumably, others like him – returned to the general population. And they want as much publicity as possible to show how hard they are trying to get him back.
-Republicans appear to believe the public is thrilled that kilmar abrego garcia was deported. They want this illegal alien/gang-member/wife beater – and, presumably others like him – permanently out of the general population. And they want as much publicity as possible to show how hard Democrats are trying to get him back.
There aren’t many things that garcia-supporting Democrats and keep-garcia-out Republicans agree on. But, apparently, one of those few things is that he offers them a political benefit:

Which side do you think most of the public – most of the voters – come out on?
I doubt you’ll have much difficulty figuring this one out, even if those safe-seat Democrats can’t.
