The question in my blog title is something you ask after a long period of time has elapsed, and the subject in question has dropped out of the news.
It is not the question you would ask about a current “thing” that, if true, should force the Attorney General of New York State out of her job and put her in court trying to defend herself against credible – undeniable, it seems – charges that she falsified documents for financial gain.
So why am I asking it?
Because today – just two days after this story broke – I just checked the websites for CBS News, NBC News and ABC News. And I cannot find Letitia James on any of their websites. I’m not talking about lead story status, I’m saying I can’t find this story at all. Use the links I’ve provided and see for yourself.
So the Attorney General of the state of New York, who has obsessively gone up against the President of the United States evey way she could dream up for years, is accused of outright civil fraud – complete with documents that have her signature on them to prove the fraud exists…
…and the story disappears almost immediately. Gone. The story broke on Wednesday and is nonexistent on Friday.
And then these “journalists” wonder why fewer and fewer people trust them?
Un – effing – believable.
