Vladimir Putin, today:
“We agree with the proposals for the ceasefire, but our position is based on the assumption that the ceasefire would lead to a longterm peace, something that would remove the initial reasons for the crisis.”
This, after Volodomyr Zelensky agreed to the ceasefire earlier this week.
Will it actually happen? And, if so, will it hold? And if it holds, for how long?
Will it lead to a permanent solution?
