Suppose a terrorist group dedicated to annihilating Israel and killing all Jews everywhere commits a major attack on Israel resulting in over 1,2000 dead and over 250 taken hostage, with the deaths including beheadings, baking of children in ovens, using the cell phones of victims to send videos of these acts to the victims’ families…and promises to do it “again and again” in the future.
Suppose you are an organization that, on paper, is for international fairness and justice…but, in reality, has made it clear it is dead-set against giving Israel the time of day.
What do you do?
From today’s article at Israel National News:
A new report by the United Nations claims that Israel committed “genocidal acts” during the war in Gaza, including intentional harm to women’s health facilities and the weaponization of sexual violence.
The report claims that Israel committed sexual violence against Gazans, including making them undress in public and carrying out sexual assault as part of the procedures meant to punish Palestinian Arabs for the October 7th Massacre.
It also claims that there was a surge in maternity deaths due to restricted access to medical supplies, amounting “to the crime against humanity of extermination.”
“Israeli authorities have destroyed in part the reproductive capacity of the Palestinians in Gaza as a group, including by imposing measures intended to prevent births, one of the categories of genocidal acts in the Rome Statute and the Genocide Convention,” the report added.
In other words, you accuse Israel – which attacked Gaza only after the October 7, 2023 massacre – of doing, among other things, what was done to Israel. No condemnation of the October 7 attackers, though, or designating them as a terrorist entity.
Any day President Trump announces we are getting out of this pathetic joke of an organization, maybe forming a new one that – unlike what the United Nations has become – actually has a heart, a soul, and is seriously committed to the same set of rules for all nations/no Jew-hatred allowed, will be a happy day to me.
