Want the latest information on how much Barnard College, and its affiliate, Columbia University, care about the hate-filled, anti-Semitic, violent “protesters” who – again – took over Barnard’s Milstein Hall; the ones showing us their overt love affair with murderous terrorists who want every Jew dead?
Here’s your update, via excerpts from Anthony Blair’s article for the New York Post (and NOT the Times or the major networks):
Anti-Israel protesters who again stormed Barnard College’s Manhattan campus this week handed out sick “Hamas Media Office” leaflets glorifying the Oct. 7 terror attacks.
The disturbing missives — including one titled “Our narrative … Al-Aqsa Flood,” the name the Palestinian terror group gave to its brutal incursion into Israel — were handed out by some of the masked protesters who took over the Milstein Center on Wednesday.
“Happening now: protesters at Barnard College are handing out pamphlets written by the Hamas Media Office justifying October 7th,” Elisha Baker, co-chair of Columbia Students Association for Israel, wrote in a post on X, sharing pictures of the pamphlets.
Protesters also hung up stickers calling for “Death to Amerika” [sic] and “Burn, Barnard Burn.”
There is your update. “Protesters” were – again – in full control.
And, other than a grand total of 9 arrests (out of an estimated 200), no police action against them. And, at least so far, not one suspension or expulsion of any of the students involved – not even the 9 arrested (none of whom were from Barnard; they were from Columbia and Columbia-affiliated Union Theological Seminary).
That is how much Barnard and Columbia “care”.
Where are the university trustees on this? How many of them do you see/hear them demanding that the President of Barnard College, laura ann rosenbury, and/or the President of Columbia University, katrina armstrong, DO something about this? Any at all?
And what about Mayor Adams? And what about New York City’s elected officials (the vast majority of whom are Democrats (10 out of 11 House members and 44 out of 49 City Council members)? How many of them are making exactly the same demands? Why not ALL of them? How many agree with the protesters?
If this doesn’t tell you what you need to know about those schools, and the fecklessness (or maybe agreement) of the city’s politicians, I don’t know what would.
