In a previous post I pointed out that the overnight poll commissioned by CBS News (and conducted by nonpartisan YouGov) showed people who viewed Donald Trump’s speech – the one Democrats, with almost no exceptions, made plain they disagreed with every part of – gave it a 76% level of approval.
But that was overall. Were these people on-board with its individual components as well?
Here’s your answer:
– 68% say he has a clear plan to tackle inflation
– 73% support his stance on Russia and Ukraine
– 77% back his immigration and border policies
– 77% support his plan to cut government waste and spending
Bottom line? positive reaction to every one of the major points Trump dealt with ranged from a strong majority to a massive majority.
But Democrats wouldn’t give Trump the time of day on any of those positions. Not even one.
Nor would they acknowledge/provide a positive reaction to D.J. Daniel, the 13 year old young man with brain cancer, or Mark Fogel, who Trump got released from a Russian prison, or the mother and sister of murdered Laken Riley.
If that isn’t political suicide, tell me what is.
