How far advanced is the second-presidency version of Trump Derangement System (TDS)?
Well, if you believe the Democrat mantras, Trump – who is completing his first month as President today – is responsible for (among other things to come you can be sure), the high price of eggs, and the plane crashes which have taken place since January 20. (John Hinderaker of powerlineblog.com has an excellent commentary on these asinine lies. I strongly urge you to read it.)
And, given how much of our mainstream media are in Democrats’ pockets, the following information supplied by Republican strategist Steve Guest is no surprise:
In the 25 days since Trump’s inauguration, CNN has mentioned “egg prices” 45 times.
But in the 25 days before the inauguration, CNN NEVER mentioned “egg prices.”
Over on MSNBC, in the 25 days since Trump’s inauguration, they mentioned “edge prices” 80 times.
But in the 25 days before the inauguration, MSNBC mentioned “egg prices” just 1 time.
Beyond parody.
FYI: the high price of eggs is due to millions of chickens killed to fight bird flu, and started well before Trump took office.
Then there are the several well-reported plane crashes over the past month. Democrats, incredibly (well, we’re talking about today’s Democrats, so I guess it isn’t incredible at all) are blaming Trump for that as well, as if he personally made air traffic less safe.
But did you ever hear about how plane travel fared when Joe Biden took office?

The United States saw double the number of fatal plane crashes under President Joe Biden’s first four weeks in office compared to the same time period under President Donald Trump’s second administration, federal data reviewed by Fox News Digital shows.
There were 10 fatal plane crashes in the United States between Jan. 20, 2021, and Feb. 18, 2021, according to the National Transportation Safety Board’s Case Analysis and Reporting Online, or CAROL, which has recorded aviation accidents since 1962. There were four fatal plane crashes recorded during the same time period under the second Trump administration — from inauguration day to Feb. 18 — the data shows.
Do I blame Biden for those crashes? Of course not. Just as I don’t blame Trump for the lesser number of crashes during his first month in office.
But why should we be surprised by these imbecilic attacks? Let’s remember that these are the same Democrats/media acolytes who told us Trump called nazis and White supremacists “very fine people” and that we should inject bleach into our veins – both absolute 100% lies. And they are also the same people who spent four years telling us Joe Biden was in full control/”sharp as a tack”.
Bottom line? Why in God’s name would you believe a word they say?
The good news is that, based on the November election results and subsequent polling, fewer and fewer people do believe a word they say. It is a negative result that is richly deserved.
Maybe someday in the future – the near future, I hope – Democrats will regain at least some high ground and stop making fools of themselves, while treating the rest of us like we are ignorant morons.
It would be nice to have two viable parties again.
