Last night, a commercial jetliner and military helicopter crashed at Washington DC’s airport. Apparently all people in both planes – almost 70 of them in total – are dead.
President Donald Trump just got on TV and made comments about this horrible tragedy.
His comments? A minute or two of “this is awful and our prayers are with the victims….
…and the remainder (until I turned it off in disgust because I couldn’t take it anymore)? “When I became President Barack Obama left a mess in air safety and I made it wonderful, then Biden took over and made a mess and I’m going to make it wonderful again, it will be great like no one has ever seen before, I’ll pick geniuses to run it…….”
…in other words, the entire rest of what I heard was a Trump I-am-the-greatest-athon.
Almost 70 people died in the most horrible way imaginable, the victims’s families and friends are experiencing unspeakable grief… and all Trump wanted to do was talk about himself.
In the world of Donald Trump is there ever anything – ANYTHING – besides how great he is? The answer seems clearly to be no.
Tonight I have no doubt Trump will be reamed eight ways from Sunday for his egomaniacal diatribe. And everyone who reams him will be 100% correct.
