Read this fascinating exchange between CNN host Abby Phillip and the network’s house conservative, Scott Jennings, and see why it is so worthwhile:
Phillips: “I have concerns about Elon Musk’s business in other countries, including American adversaries, and the level of influence that has over his own behavior and his interests.”
Jennings: “I have no concerns over Elon Musk. I have been looking at pictures of Joe Biden and Hunter Biden meeting with Chinese political leaders lately, that we were told didn’t exist. So for all the people who are really upset about Elon Musk having a very successful international business that actually produces things, actually produces vehicles or rockets or whatever they’re doing, the Bidens produce nothing. And yet we’re also doing business in China. I don’t accept this criticism.”
Phillips: “I don’t want you to change the subject.”
Beautiful.
Phillips, ever obeisant to the Democrat side of things, is concerned that Elon Musk – who is not the surrogate President, despite what Democrat talking points are trying to convince us of – does international business with countries that are adversarial to us…
…but, apparently, has no problem with Joe Biden, who IS the President, using his son, hunter as a bag man, meeting with big shots from China (does it get more adversarial than that?), and amassing millions of dollars from these meetings which apparently was then spread around the Biden family – Joe very much included (“10% for the big guy”) – and lying about it for years. See, that’s just a change of subject.
If you’re wondering why CNN is down the toilet viewer-wise, please keep in mind that Jennings is pretty much the only CNN personality who takes positions like this…
…which is to say positions like the voters evidently took when they dumped Biden’s VP Kamala Harris (formerly rated the single most left wing member of the US Senate) and Tim Walz (a decades-long fan of China and a self-professed socialist, who said “we should never shy away from our progressive values. One person’s socialism is another person’s neighborliness.”)
Some things just explain themselves.
