THE QUOTE OF THE DAY

Today’s quote comes to us from Scott Jennings, CNN’s house Republican.

This morning, he was asked by Democrat-favoring (thus far more typical CNN personality) Dana Bash about Elon Musk’s prominence among Donald Trump’s inner circle and whether it might “wear thin” over time.

Jennings had this to say in answer:

“I don’t think so. I mean look, they appear to be getting along well.  Musk was very instrumental in his victory and I hear Democrats criticizing the idea that we have unelected people with too much influence over the government. I invite them to pick up the Wall Street Journal from this week and find out that unelected people have been running the government for the last four years.”

“I hear Democrats criticizing the influence of billionaires on our politics when you’ve got this Soros punk running around collecting Democrat politicians like my kids collect Pokemon cards.  So I think all the criticism of Musk coming from the left is totally hypocritical, totally over-the-top and he is doing something interesting, bringing some transparency to the federal government.”

Scott Jennings wins Quote Of The Day honors for a terrific answer, that calls out – make that screams out – the utter hypocrisy of attacking Elon Musk’s influence, while ignoring the fact that we have had an unelected presidency-by-left-wing-committee for most of Joe Biden’s term of office…

… and a far left billionaire named soros whose campaign funding of equally far left DAs around the country is largely responsible for imbecilic policies (defund the police, don’t prosecute criminal activity, etc.) that are ruining major cities, but which the Dana Bash’s of the world seem to have no problem with.
