THE QUOTE OF THE DAY

Today’s quote comes to us from Minnesota Governor and just-defeated Vice President candidate, Tim Walz.

Here is Mr. Walz’s explanation of why he and Kamala Harris lost to Donald Trump and J. D. Vance:

“I think we’re going to have to understand what kind of leadership do they want? We were pledging to be inclusive, we were pledging to bring people in. Donald Trump says that isn’t what he wants. If that’s what America is leaning towards, um, I guess for me, it’s to understand and to learn more about America because I thought they were going to probably move towards a more positive message.”

Yes, he really said that.  Here is the video.

Is my memory failing me, or didn’t Walz, Harris and their Democrat operatives spend the entire campaign calling Trump hitlerian, fascistic and a mortal threat to democracy?  Didn’t they also demean/insult every voter who dared to support him – as portrayed in this very clever and all-too-true cartoon:

That was their “positive message”??????

I award Tim Walz Quote Of The Day “honors” for either being unbelievably obtuse or unbelievably dishonest; maybe both.   It is hard to tell which of the two predominates.
