Retaliation is what you do in answer to something, after which you are finished. A war is what you do to vanquish an enemy, and you don\’t stop at one bombing operation, no matter how significant that operation is.
What a stark contrast this is to President Obama\’s “actions” all these years, even as radical islamic terrorists have hit us time and time again, in both foreign and domestic locations (unless you think nidal hasan\’s massacre of soldiers at Fort Hood, while screaming allahu akbar, was “workplace violence”, that is).
Then – and now – Mr. Obama cannot even give us the minimal honesty to call such events the work of radical islam.
Why? Because he sympathizes with Muslims? Wrong. What he is doing is not sympathizing with Muslims.
I sympathize with Muslims. I recognize that there are many who do not support terrorism and are appalled that it is performed in the name of their religion. That is not Barack Obama\’s stance.
When he does not recognize that there are also radical muslims and radical muslim supporters, and when he refuses to call them what they are, he is not displaying sympathy for Muslims as a group. He is displaying sympathy for radical muslims.
To France\’s President Hollande – himself a leftward politician like Obama, but one who knows what he sees when the streets of Paris run with blood – I wish you every success in your war against ISIS, sir.
To Barack Obama – I rue the day you were elected President. I am embarrassed as a citizen of the USA that, four years later, the voters (both legal and, as I strongly suspect, plenty of illegals as well) re-elected you.
I count the days until you are out of office.
