There are a great many theaters in Paris. Why was The Bataclan targeted? Was it just a random choice, or was it something else?
French magazine Le Point says the Bataclan theater has foryears been the target of anti-Zionist groups as its Jewish owners often put onpro-Israel events.
The publication quotes a member of the extremist groupArmy of Islam, who told French security services in 2011 that, “We had plannedan attack against the Bataclan because its owners are Jews.”
The Eagles of Death Metal, the band performing at thetheater when the attacks began, played in Tel Aviv\’s Barby club in July.
Still wondering why The Bataclan was targeted?
I didn\’t think so.
