JUST IN CASE ANYONE WATCHES THE DEMOCRATS\’ PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE….

Ken Berwitz

As you know, or should know, Democrats want credit for holding debates, while trying their damnedest to make sure as few people as possible watch them.

Why else would they hold one on a Saturday night at 9PM, as they\’re doing tomorrow?

After all, Bernie Sanders or Martin O\’Malley might actually ask questions Hillary Clinton would struggle to answer…or might not be able to answer at all.  And, since the Democrat establishment clearly intends for her to be their candidate, the possibility that Mr. Sanders or Mr. O\’Malley might gain ground by doing so has to be minimized.  And a Saturday night debate is a really good way of doing so.

But, apparently, that is not enough protection for Queen Hillary – or for the other two just in case they wind up the candidate instead (don\’t assume Hillary is going to win this, even with Joe Biden dropping out.  I\’ve said for over a year that there are health issues here, and nothing I know of has changed that as a potential issue).

So, to truly seal the deal, they have a “moderator” happy to play ball with the candidates, by interviewing each of them individually to find out what they want to be asked about.

Think I\’m kidding?  Read this excerpt from Hadas Gold and Annie Karni\’s article at politico.com:

This Saturday\’s secondDemocratic debate will be a much smaller affair than the first. With only threecandidates on stage, CBS News plans to delve deep into the issues with eachcandidate and have taken advantage of the smaller pool by doing some intense research.

Moderator JohnDickerson and his team met with each of three campaigns for over an hour todiscuss the major issues at play in the race, sources on the campaigns said, describing the pre-interview as “informational in nature.”

I apologize for saying the fix is in…because you might be bored by the redundancy.

Now, watch:  The candidates for the next Republican debate will be asked a few questions beforehand…so our wonderful “neutral” media can say “see, we do it for both sides” – but only after the inquisitional fraud at CNBC, of course.

When did we last have a truly non-partisan mainstream media in this country?  Ever?  I can\’t say for sure.  But I sure can say we don\’t have one now.
