I have not written about billy sample in a long time – well over a year, I think.
And I would not be doing so today, were it not for the fact that someone my wife and I know very well, whom sample worked with after his major league playing career ended, just put up a 10th wedding anniversary announcement on facebook.
When I wished he and his wife well, I noticed sample had done so too…
…so I clicked on sample\’s facebook page to see if he was still putting up the most vile Israel-hating vomit he could find, and whether his facebook friends who were sympathetic to this hatred – not just for Israel per se but for Jews in general – were still as comfortable with sample as they had been in the past.

Hatred is an ugly thing. Hatred based on lies, coupled with an inability to see more than one side of the story no matter how transparently dishonest that side is? Even uglier.
