Apropos of nothing political….
For people who enjoy good eating as much as we do, it\’s a sad day when we have to cancel our reservation at a really excellent restaurant. But, because of an irreconcilable time conflict, that\’s what we had to do today.
Worse still, this particular restaurant is one of our very favorites in New Jersey – maybe our single favorite of them all.
Wondering which one I\’m talking about? The answer is Fascino, on Bloomfield Avenue in Montclair.
Absolutely outstanding food, excellent service, cozy, friendly atmosphere, and prices that, while certainly not bargain-basement, are not stratospheric either. Plus, it is BYOB, so you don\’t get ravaged on the bar bill.
If you\’re ever in the area – or can feasibly find a way/make an excuse to be there – I highly recommend it.
OK, now back to politics, where, the bill is always outrageous and, all too often, we taxpayers are the main course.
