Here is a possible quote that just might become a real one in the near future (maybe it already has):
“Ok, you pushed me out of my re-election campaign. Now, instead of us having four more years, that effin’ Trump is back in office. And you know he’s going to be coming after me and Hunter….and probably you too. I hope you’re goddamn happy with yourself.
“But I have a deal for you.
“I will resign the presidency. That will make you President – the first woman President in history. And it will give you the power to do some things that you want to do before you have to leave on January 20.
“My only requirement? It’s that you give a full pardon to Hunter. Then we’re even. You get to be president and we don’t have to explain how all that money came from all those places into our pockets.
“Is it a deal?”
I won’t tell you who I think would be saying this. I give you credit for having a cerebrum in working order.
And I won’t ask you who you think that person would be speaking to. I assume it is self-evident.
Now, sit tight and let’s see if it happens.
