Today’s quote comes to us from Joe Biden-appointed Secretary Of State, Antony Blinken.
Blinken, in Israel, has warned Israel not to “escalate” the war being foisted upon it by Iran. His exact words:
“It’s also been an imperative for us to try to make sure that this conflict doesn’t spread. We are resolute in our defense of Israel when it comes to attacks it’s receiving from Iran, from Iran’s proxies.
“We stand with Israel and will always stand with Israel and its defense. It’s also very important that Israel respond in ways that do not create greater escalation and do not risk spreading the conflict with Hezbollah and Lebanon.”
In other words, the Biden/Harris White House stands with Israel if it defends itself from the Iran-trained/Iran-financed terrorists whose stated goal is obliterating Israel and killing Jews.
But Israel better not DO anything about it OTHER than defend itself. Like, for example, bombing hamas facilities in Gaza or hezbollah facilities in Lebanon, or key sites in Iran. Because that would be an “escalation”. No, just let them bomb away, and the Biden/Harris administration will be happy to work with you on defense. The end.
I award Antony Blinken Quote Of The Day “honors” for establishing – again (it’s not like it hasn’t been said before) – that the Biden/Harris administration stands fully behind Israel…as long as Israel doesn’t aggressively go after the people dedicated to its destruction.
Anyone surprised about why Israelis, based on recent polling, are dramatically in favor of a second Trump term? I doubt it.
