Today\’s quote – one which just might cause you to do a double-take – comes to us from Vermont Senator, and presidential aspirant, Bernie Sanders.
Speaking to the Boston Globe\’s editorial board on Thursday, Mr. Sanders actually said this:
“I disagree with Hillary Clinton on virtually everything.”
So help me, he said that. Use the link and see for yourself.
Am I missing something, or could Mr. Sanders have said the same thing about Ted Cruz? Or Mike Huckabee?
Is Bernie Sanders trying to tell us he considers Hillary Clinton a hardline right winger like Cruz and Huckabee? Or is he telling us he is so distantly far to the left that the pro-amnesty/unconditional abortion/#blacklivesmatter Hillary Clinton is a right winger by comparison?
Either way, that is one bodacious claim.
I award Bernie Sanders Quote Of The Day honors because he just set the 2015 record for making me rub my eyes in disbelief.
Way to go Bernie. And if I were giving Mega-Chutzpah awards, you\’d have gotten one of them too.
