The previous blog imagined a telephone conversation between Quentin Tarantino and Harvey Weinstein. It used a lot of bad language, because Tarantino/Weinstein films have a lot of bad language. It suggested that Tarantino and and Weinstein may talk a good game in public but look down on Blacks in private, because I know many White “liberals” – make that a great many White “liberals” – who do exactly that.
But, regardless of the how and why of what I wrote, that conversation was imaginary.
Now let\’s talk about something that isn\’t “imaginary”: A two minute youtube.com video put out by something called “deportracism.com, which uses pre-teen children to curse out Donald Trump using a selective reading of the constitution and some of the most vulgar language imaginable.
This is nothing short of child abuse. And – certainly based on the comments put up by viewers – is backfiring hugely….as it should.
Look, anyone who reads this blog knows how little I think of Donald Trump as a presidential candidate. But sending out children – the youngest, a girl, looks maybe 8 years old – to call him a torrent of obscene names, is below the bottom of the barrel.
I hope they\’re proud of themselves (and, though I mean that sarcastically, I suspect they actually are).
One other thing: On the video, these children tell me they\’re not “anchor babies”, they\’re American citizens, and that Trump wants to tear up the constitution by calling them anything else. Maybe their mentors – those nice folks who got them to use such filthy language on youtube.com – should inform them that, although they might be considered citizens, their parents are considered illegal aliens. Therefore if they want to keep the constitution intact, they can stay, but their parents have to go.
Don\’t expect that constitutional lesson to be taught by these people any time soon.
