Today’s quote comes to us from gina raimondo, our current Secretary Of Commerce.
Two months after an assassination attempt on Donald Trump, and less than two weeks after a second attempt, this is what raimondo had to say about what should happen to him (bold print is mine):
“He says, he’s the opposite. It’s just another lie. Like, how did we get here? Let’s extinguish him for good. We have an answer. We have a remarkably talented candidate who is sincere, who’s pragmatic, who’s open. Let’s just get it done.”

I award gina raimondo Quote Of The Day dishonors/disgrace, for what, at very best, is an unbelievably stupidly voiced insult guaranteed to encourage other would-be assassins…and, at worst, is a literal suggestion that they should get going.
If she does not apologize and make clear this was not her intent before the end of the day, she should summarily fired.
But, be assured, that won’t happen. Not with the level of “oversight” she is likely to get from what passes for our mainstream media.
