How would you like to be offered $1,000,000 for doing nothing other than marching for a group you support…and marching in their home territory where, presumably, your support would be welcomed with open arms?
Well here’s an actual offer of that $1,000,000. But will it be accepted?
Before answering, I suggest you read these excerpts from David Krayden’s article for thepostmillennial.com and then decide:
A group wanting to callout the alliance of some pro-Palestine protesters with LGBTQ advocates said Monday that it is offering $1 million to “Queers for Palestine” or any similar outfit to host a gay pride parade in Gaza or the West Bank.
New Tolerance Campaign (NTC) President Gregory T. Angelo, who is the former president of the gay-identifying Log Cabin Republicans, said the offer is no publicity stunt but a “wake-up call” to anyone who sees no discrepancy in titles like “Queers for Palestine” or “Gays for Gaza.”
“I don’t want people to just shrug off this campaign as some kind of publicity stunt or something that is supposed to be comical. It actually is a legitimate offer,” Angelo told Fox News Digital. “This campaign emerged to call out these purported advocates of LGBT equality and put our money where their mouths are,” he said. “I think that this is a real opportunity for these groups to legitimately step up and host an event that would either highlight the fact that the Palestinian territories are not indeed a good place for LGBTQ individuals to be living, or it could be a breakthrough moment for pluralism and peace in the Middle East.”
Gee golly gosh, a gay rights activist group marching through the streets of Gaza or Judea/Samaria (aka the west bank). What could possibly go wrong?
Wouldn’t the folks who, this group tells us every day, will provide a “free, free Palestine” if they are in charge, welcome them with open arms?
I mean it’s not like their march would be stopped the minute it started and the marchers would have the excrement kicked out of them or far worse, right?
In any event, the offer has been made. I will now wait with bated breath to find out how many LGBTQ folks line up for their tickets to Gaza City and their million bucks.
Can’t you just see them lining up to take advantage of this great opportunity to prove how free a hamas-led Gaza is and how tolerant it is of alternate lifestyles? Can’t you just see the joy they will feel when they are welcomed with open arms by the people there?
(Well, maybe if you take a double dose of LSD….)
