FOR THE PEOPLE WHO DEMANDED ISRAEL NOT GO INTO RAFAH…

…here is an update on how things are going there.

From Emanuel Fabian’s article from The Times Of Israel, via msn.com:

Hamas’s Rafah Brigade has “collapsed” as a result of the IDF’s ongoing offensive in the city in the southern Gaza Strip, military sources say.

The remarks come a week after Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said the Rafah Brigade had been defeated.

According to the IDF, around 80% of Hamas’s tunnels along the Philadelphi Corridor, the Egypt-Gaza border area, have been neutralized.

The military has also seen Hamas operatives increasingly trying to escape from tunnels in Rafah and flee north to the Israeli-designated humanitarian zone. The IDF has successfully been ambushing Hamas gunmen in the area who have tried to flee, military sources add.

If Israel had not gone in?  hamas would still be in control, those tunnels would still be fully operable, and the mechanism for perpetuating hamas in power/future attacks on Israel would still be 100% in place.

This, no doubt, is terrible news for the United Nations, which never seems to find a problem with the hamas terrorists who run Gaza and, through its United Nations Relief Works Agency (UNRWA),  has overseen the “education” of Gazan students who learn that Jews are the spawn of monkeys and pigs, they all must die, and it is the greatest honor of Islam to die while killing them.

But, to tell you the truth, I have a more positive reaction to what has happened in Rafah.

How about you?
