Today’s quote comes to us from Trump spokesperson Jason Miller.
As you probably are aware, Donald Trump agreed to a September 10 debate with Kamala Harris on ABC News – which, to say the least, is no fan of Trump’s.
They agreed on the same rules that were in place for the CNN debate.
But now the Harris campaign wants to change those rules – by, among other things, allowing Harris to bring along prepared notes (that she can read from) instead of just answering questions.
Here is what Mr. Miller has to say about this:
“Enough with the games. We accepted the ABC debate under the exact same terms as the CNN debate.
“The Harris camp, after having already agreed to the CNN rules, asked for a seated debate, with notes, and opening statements. We said no changes to the agreed upon rules. If Kamala Harris isn’t smart enough to repeat the messaging points her handlers want her to memorize, that’s their problem.
“This seems to be a pattern for the Harris campaign. They won’t allow Harris to do interviews, they won’t allow her to do press conferences, and now they want to give her a cheat-sheet for the debate. My guess is that they’re looking for a way to get out of any debate with President Trump. Regardless, there’s no way Harris is ready to be Commander in Chief.”
I award Jason Miller Quote Of The Day honors for nailing Kamala Harris, just about perfectly, as an empty pants suit who is incapable of, maybe terrified of, actually having to answer serious questions about what she would do as President.
Is this really who we want in control of our country? In control of our armed forces. In possession of the nuclear codes?
