Today’s quote – and it is a jaw-dropping one – comes to us from current Minnesota Governor and Democrat Vice Presidential nominee, Tim Walz.
This, spoken just after he was named by Kamala Harris as her running mate, is Walz’s view of the tie between progressivism and socialism:
“We can get out there. Reach out. Make the case. And, for one thing, don’t ever, don’t ever shy away from our progressive values. One person’s socialism is another person’s neighborliness.”
If you find it difficult to believe Tim Walz could ever have said that (and I don’t blame you if you do), click here for the video.
In those few words, Walz tells you – doesn’t imply, but tells you directly – that he equates his progressive values to socialism and that he equates socialism with neighborliness.
Do you agree?
Do you believe socialism is just a synonym for neighborliness?
Do you want someone who believes it is to be a heartbeat away from the White House?
How do you feel about a presidential candidate who puts someone with this adoring view of socialism a heartbeat away from the White House? What does it tell you about HER views?
I award Tim Walz Quote Of The Day honors for being so honest about his belief that socialism…and, presumably a socialist state…is just wonderful. I mean, what could be bad about neighborliness?
Put that together with the dozens of trips Walz has made to China (I read one estimate of 30 such trips – including his honeymoon), and tell me, honestly, whether you are okay with Harris/Walz running our country.
