THE QUOTE OF THE DAY

Today’s quote comes to us from Kamala Harris.  It is not a new quote, it was voiced during a November 12, 2021 press conference (yes, that was when Harris actually agreed to participate in them), after a reporter asked her what safeguards the administration would put in place to avoid its so-called “Build Back Better” plan from causing further inflation (which, by that time, had risen from the 1.4% Trump left us with to 6.8%….on its way to a peak of 9.1%).

This was her answer:

“Let’s start with this: Prices have gone up, and families and individuals are dealing with the realities of — that bread costs more, that gas costs more,” Harris said. “And we have to understand what that means. That’s about the cost of living going up. That’s about having to stress and stretch limited resources. That’s about a source of stress for families that is not only economic but is on a daily level something that is a heavy weight to carry.”

“So that is something that we take very seriously, very seriously. And we know from the history of this issue in the United States that when you see these prices go up, it has a direct impact on the quality of life for all people in our country. So it’s a big issue, and we take it seriously, and it is a priority, therefore.”

That is what she said.  That is what our media let her get away with.

Do you see anything there about how inflation would be dealt with?  Even one thought or one word?  Or do you see an average 6th grade student’s “report” on why inflation is bad and why we should do something about it, without any explanation of what should, would or could be done?

I award Kamala Harris Quote Of The Day honors for showing us, three years ago, the “depth” of her knowledge base (roughly the thickness of a sheet of Saran Wrap), her complete lack of capability to say anything meaningful…

…and media’s complicit willingness to accept her answerless pile of crap then…just as they are willing to do now.
