Today’s quote comes to us from a rich, never-ending source of ignorance and stupidity, Rep. alexandria ocasio-cortez (D-NY).
Here, via a tweet, is what she had to say after New York City Mayor Eric Adams had the police enter columbia University’s campus and end the hamas-supporting, Israel-hating, Jew-hating anarchy that was taking place there:
“If any kid is hurt tonight, responsibility will fall on the mayor and univ presidents.
“Other leaders and schools have found a safe, de-escalatory path. This is the opposite of leadership and endangers public safety. A nightmare in the making.
“I urge the Mayor to reverse course.”
Brilliant. These anarchists were allowed to run the university for weeks, disrupting learning for thousands of students and aggressively intimidating anyone who dared to disagree with their support of a terrorist hate group, then taking over a building that was supposed to be holding classes. They weren’t going anywhere unless the police came in and removed them.
But, in the mindless, one-dimensional world of Rep. ocasio-cortez, the law-breaking, student-disrupting anarchists weren’t the problem. The problem was the police.
I award alexandria ocasio-cortez Quote Of The Day honors for proving again, as she has over and over during her tenure in congress, that a world-class level of stupidity and ignorance is no bar to elective office.
