The Poison Ivy League. I’m sure someone, somewhere, has come up with this description in the past. But since I haven’t seen it I’ll take at least a little credit for creativity.
With Columbia, Harvard and the others (I don’t know to what extent, they just haven’t been reported about as much) self-destructing with Israel hatred, Jew hatred…
…and a concomitant level of support for hamas – which would beat and/or jail and/or kill these EI (Educated Ignoramuses) and POPPO (Professional Oppressed, Perpetually Pissed Off) fools the minute they tried anything like this in Gaza…
…Poison Ivy League seems an entirely appropriate categorization.
And the fact that schools of this once-revered academic group allow it to keep happening, is forever obliterating their reputations.
Are any of the eight schools not as culpable? Have any done more to prevent this hate-filled insanity? I don’t know. But the fact that, at least to my knowledge, none of them have so much as spoken up against what is happening makes them just as guilty.
How do they come back from this? I can’t see a way; certainly not in the near term, and quite probably not in the long term.
But…that’s their problem. No one else’s. They allowed this to happen, caved when they should have done something about it, and now they own it.
