Today’s quote comes to us from khymani james, who according to James Gordon’s article for London’s Daily Mail, is “a spokesperson for the pro-Palestinian encampment as a member of Columbia University Apartheid Divest”, had this to say about Israel and zionists (yes, you can read that as Jews):
‘These are all the same people. The existence of them and the projects they have built, i.e. Israel, it’s all antithetical to peace. It’s all antithetical to peace. And so, yes, I feel very comfortable, very comfortable, calling for those people to die.'”
“I think that taking someone’s life in certain case scenarios is necessary and better for the overall world. I personally have never killed anyone. Thank the lord that no one has put me in that position.”
‘These were masters who were white supremacists. What is a Zionist? A white supremacist. So let’s be very clear here, I’m not saying that I’m going to go out and start killing Zionists.
‘What I am saying is that if an individual who identifies as a Zionist threatens my physical safety in person, i.e. puts their hands on me, I am going to defend myself and in that case scenario, it may come to a point where I don’t know when to stop.”
‘Zionists don’t deserve to live comfortably, let alone Zionists don’t deserve to live.”
‘The same way we are very comfortable accepting Nazis don’t deserve to live, fascists don’t deserve to live, racists don’t deserve to live. Zionists, they shouldn’t live in this world.”‘
‘I feel very comfortable, very comfortable, calling for those people to die.”
Those, folks, are the views of a spokesperson – a leader – among the nice folks who have taken over columbia University, and demanded a “Free Palestine” – presumably because they consider life under hamas more free than life in Israel (which should be quite a surprise to the two million or so Israeli Arabs who live – peacefully and with full rights – with the Jewish citizens there).
I award khymani james Quote Of The Day honors for laying out his view of things so clearly…and 100% dishonors for the view of things he lays out.
Oh, one other thing: According to Mr. James’ article,”khymani james was banned from stepping foot on the university grounds on Friday and now faces disciplinary action.”
But before you indicate how impressed you are with columbia University’s quick action, please be advised that james made these statements IN JANUARY. ALMOST FOUR MONTHS AGO.
Only only now, as columbia University’s reputation continues to be shredded into nothingness, is anything being done about it. And we still don’t know what, if anything significant, the disciplinary action will be.
I’ll end by pointing out that if khymani james were a Jewish student making similarly incendiary statements about, say, DEI proponents, he would not have lasted one day, let alone almost four months, at this once-great, once-credible, now-irreparably self destroyed school.
