THE QUOTE OF THE DAY

Today’s quote comes to us from writer/Fox News contributor Joe Concha.

Here, from today’s The Story With Martha McCallum” show, is Mr. Concha’s take on how insulated/protected Joe Biden is from public scrutiny:

“We saw him skip that Super Bowl interview pre-game.  That game drew 125 million viewers, maybe about 40 million people were watching the pre-game, and he skipped that pre-kick interview with Nora O’Donnell.

“So you have to ask, what’s going on here, and you also have to ask where’s the president these days?

“He’s has one public event, or not even a public event, one event on his schedule in the last five days, he hasn’t done a television interview with a news organization since October.

“You can’t win the presidency by pleading the fifth.  This isn’t 2020 and there is no Covid to hide behind anymore.”

Is this how Democrats think they can keep the public from seeing – again, as they increasingly have over recent times – how cognitively degraded President Biden is?

Let’s remember that tomorrow Mr. Biden will deliver a State Of The Union address.  It will be done at a podium, where he will do nothing but read from a teleprompter.  Even in his current debilitated state that should not be tough to accomplish.

But, until that speech ends, I suspect it will be white-knuckles time for the Biden camp.  With good reason.

I award Joe Concha Quote Of The Day for so briefly and clearly articulating how completely Joe Biden is being hidden from us…

…and, by so doing, pointing out the near-impossible task his puppeteers have:  continuing to hide him from the public as much as possible while simultaneously assuring an already-disbelieving public that he is on top of his game.

I don’t envy them that task and don’t believe they can pull it off.  Which is why I expect that Democrats will find/invent/concoct a way to replace him as the party’s 2024 nominee.
