JOE BIDEN’S 2024 AGENDA

Last night, Joe Biden was on NBC’s “Late Night” show with Seth Meyers.  It was, of course, a softball “interview”, because that is the only kind of interview Biden’s handlers/puppeteers will allow.  (Do you seriously think that he’s going to debate the Republican nominee, Trump or otherwise, this year?  Dream on).

Meyers asked what his 2024 agenda would be.  And here – fully scripted, I assure you, was Biden’s answer:

“Look, the 202[4] agenda is to finish the job.

“For example, we’re now in a position where we have the strongest economy of any major nation in the world, number one. We’ve got a way to go yet. Inflation is down, 880,000 manufacturing jobs, we have 14 million new jobs, the unemployment rate is the lowest it’s been for the longest time, we’re building wealth for people. But really, we have to do more.

“The first thing I have to do is stop it from being turned around.

“For example, you talked about the border, it didn’t pass. Well, guess what? We’re going to pass that border. It’s overwhelmingly, overwhelmingly supported by Republicans and Democrats in the House and Senate. But because — I don’t know this for a fact, but I was told — that Trump was picking up the phone and calling the speaker of the House saying, don’t let it pass. Why? Not because he doesn’t think it’s good, because it will benefit Biden.

“That’s no way to run a country. That’s no way to deal. We didn’t — even when we had real divisions back when I was a young senator among Democrats and Republicans, that wasn’t the way it worked.

“And look, … this is not your father’s Republican Party. This is — you’ve got about 30% of the Republican Party controlling it all and I think it’s — we’re going to break it.”

Huh?  Wha?

Can anyone find any of Biden’s claims, including the ones quoting statistics, that is accurate?

On what basis do we have the strongest economy?  Unemployment rate?  Inflation rate? Many countries – including “major countries” – are in better shape than we are.

For example, our 3.7% unemployment rate is bettered by, among other countries, the United Kingdom (3.5%), Norway (3.3%) Japan (2.6%), South Korea (2.9%), Singapore (2.1%) Israel (3.3%) and Monaco (2.0%).

Our inflation rate, currently 3.1%, is equaled or bettered by, among others, Canada (2.9%), France (3.1%), Germany (2.9%) and Indonesia (2.6%).

Manufacturing jobs?  Wildly exaggerated.  They are up less than half Biden’s claim – about 300,000 above where they were before the pandemic hit.

“New jobs”?  A myth.  10,000,000 of the 14,000,000 Biden is taking credit for just brought us back to where we were pre-pandemic.  And a great many of the so-called “new jobs” are people taking second jobs to counteract inflation – which, under biden, zoomed from 1.4% to 9.1% before “dropping” to the current level, which is more than double where Trump left it.

As for working with the opposition party, and doing things because they benefit the country rather than the party or the President personally?  if ever there were a glass house….

…and so on.  Nothing more than a bunch of scripted BS being shoveled out at us.

But none of this scripted BS was challenged by Seth Meyers, of course.  Biden would never have shown up on his show if that were going to happen.

And as long as Biden remains the candidate, you can bet he will find reasons to avoid any serious scrutiny of his performance as President; reasons that will be ridiculous, but will be stated by his people with a straight face (like alejandro mayorkas telling us the border is secure).

In other words, BIden and his puppeteers will talk to you like you are an idiot, and hope – expect – you will react accordingly.

Will you?
