Today’s quote comes to us from pollster, former (maybe present as well) Trump confidante, Kellyanne Conway.
On Fox News Channel’s “Outnumbered” today, Conway has this to say about the prospect of President Biden dropping out and leaving the presidency to Vice President Kamala Harris:
“I think she’s the best job security for Joe Biden. I sent him another shipment of fresh fruit and vitamins just this morning.
“I’m scared to death of her being president. And if you think I’m alone, look at the NBC News poll… Last week it was terrible for Joe Biden, but the one person less popular than Joe Biden was Kamala Harris.
“Hey folks, that’s not sexism or racism, it’s eyesight and hearing.”
Apart from how clearly she expressed a fear of the country enduring “President Harris” (a fear I also have, by the way), Kellyanne Conway wins Quote Of The Day honors for her line about people’s negative reaction toward Harris not being racism or sexism, but eyesight and hearing.
Sometimes the truth makes you laugh. And, though through gritted teeth, that line got a laugh out of me.
