Today’s quote comes to us from our increasingly incoherent President of the United States, Joe Biden.
This, so help me, is what he said today about the southern border – the one he has left wide open for three years, allowing millions and millions of illegal aliens to come into our country:
“I believe we need significant policy changes at the border, including changes in our asylum system to ensure that we have the authorities we need to control the border. I’m ready to act.
“Now the question is for the [House] Speaker [Mike Johnson] and the House Republicans: Are they ready to act as well?
“They have to choose whether they want to solve a problem or keep weaponizing the issue to score political points against the president. I’m ready to solve the problem. I really am. Massive changes, and I mean it sincerely.”
For the past three years Joe Biden, and his lying Secretary of Homeland Security, Alejandro Mayorkas, have acted with jaw dropping negligence by allowing people we don’t know, whose reasons for coming we don’t know, whose attitudes toward this country we don’t know, whose value as citizens we don’t know into the country.
And now, after they are in by the millions upon millions, with record numbers of additional illegals coming every day…he admonishes REPUBLICANS for the problem.
The fact that illegal immigration under his Republican predecessor, Donald Trump, dropped to a fraction of where it was under previous administrations, and then soared to the current rates after Biden blew away Trump’s immigration policies immediately upon taking office? That somehow doesn’t count.
And, of course, most of our mainstream media will – again, as they almost always do – look the other way as Biden is trotted out by his puppeteers to put the onus on Republicans instead of him/them.
I award Joe Biden Quote Of The Day “honors” for demonstrating, as he does on a regular basis, that he either is lying, doesn’t know what the hell he is talking about, or is perfectly willing to read any script he is handed, irrespective of how blatantly fraudulent it is.
