HILLARY\’S TANGLED WEB: THE WEAVING CONTINUES

Oh what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive:  Sir Walter Scott

From the Associated Press – via Scott Johnson\’s latest piece at powerlineblog.com:

The Obama administration has discovered a chain of emailsthat Hillary Rodham Clinton failed to turn over when she provided what she saidwas the full record of work-related correspondence as secretary of state, officials told The Associated Press Friday, adding to the growing questionsrelated to the Democratic presidential front-runner\’s unusual usage of aprivate email account and server while in government.

The messages were exchanged with retired Gen. David Petraeuswhen he headed the military\’s U.S. Central Command, responsible for running thewars in Iraq and Afghanistan. They began before Clinton entered office andcontinued into her first days at the State Department. They largely pertainedto personnel matters and don\’t appear to deal with highly classified material, officials said, but their existence challenges Clinton\’s claim that she hashanded over the entirety of her work emails from the account.

Her “unusual usage of a private email account”?  How\’s that for sanitization?

And what a fascinating juxtaposition this is.  As you may be aware, David Petraeus was convicted of sharing classified information with his biographer/mistress.  He was sentenced to two years\’ probation and fined $100,000.

With Hillary Clinton, I have not heard anyone accuse her of specifically handing over classified material to people who should not have had it.  Nope, all she did was put it on a personal server, so anyone with even a moderate talent for hacking, could get not just the exchanges with Petraeus, but every bit of classified material on everything for four years.

A four year feast handed to countries like Russia, China, Iran and North Korea.  Thank you Ms. Clinton.

And then we have the lies about that server and what was on it.  Lie after lie for month after month.

According to recent polls, most people – even Democrats, now consider Hillary Clinton untrustworthy and dishonest.  This is one of the many reasons why.

I wonder how many of them now consider her incompetent as well.
