What a surprise.
The “free Palestine” chanters – hate-filled “leaders” with bullhorns chanting the first half of slogans, and mindless trained reciters marching and responding with the second half of each – showed up in shopping areas around the country yesterday (you get more press coverage that way).
Here is a video of them marching down Fifth Avenue in New York City. And here, from gellerreport.com, are videos of marches both in New York and in other cities around the country.
What are they marching for? They’re marching for hamas and fatah to regain control of Gaza…and of Israel too (hey, why not; hamas’s objective, in writing, is the obliteration of Israel (second paragraph) and killing of all Jews everywhere (Article 7), so who would be there to object?
That wonderful result would remove the terribly unfree Israel (in which its 20% Arab/Muslim population have full rights, including voting – men and women both – land ownership, inclusion in elective office and the judiciary, etc. etc. etc.)…
…and replace it with sharia law Islam. Yep, that would “free” the people all right.
I wonder if these geniuses ever think about why Israel’s Arab population has not risen up in support of their goals. If they ever think about why Israel’s Arab population, in aggregate, appears to be just fine living under Israeli rule instead of the hamas and fatah Islamic dictatorships. (When were the last elections in Gaza? The west bank?).
Is it out of love of Jews (that’s pretty doubtful), or out of love for the freedom and opportunities they have in Israel, compared to the lives people in Gaza and the west bank lead?
Come to think of it, what’s the difference? Whatever the reason, they would rather live in the Jewish state of Israel than topple it and give control to the billionaires running Gaza from Qatar while their people remain impoverished, or Mahmoud Abbas, the west bank ruler and his $100 million dollar-plus net worth.
But don’t expect to hear any of the previous three paragraphs being chanted by the “free Palestine” crowd. Even though they are all demonstrably true.
Nah, let’s stay real: trained reciters are trained reciters. They do/say what they are told to. And these are trained reciters.
I wonder how many of them went to Ivy League schools…
