Here, from today’s briefing, is her answer to whether Biden would work with Republicans on border policy:
“Look, you know, on day one, the president put forward a comprehensive immigration plan –legislation – for Congress to take a serious look at and to work with him on getting that done,” she said. “We have a broken immigration system. It’s been broken for decades now.
“And the president has done everything that he can on his own to try to figure out how do we deal with what’s going on at the border.”
Biden has done everything that he can to deal with the border? Like, for example, ending every border protection enacted during the Trump administration (yeah, that got Trump, all right!!) thus allowing millions upon millions of illegals to enter the United States? This claim would be laughable if it weren’t so pathetic…and if Biden’s actions weren’t so destructive to the country.
I award karine jean-pierre Quote Of The Day “honors” for doing something I would have thought almost impossible – showing herself to be even more overt an in-your-face liar then we already knew her to be.
