Today’s quote comes to us from President Joe Biden.
Mr. Biden was asked whether he had a message for people who do not believe his assertion that Israel did not bomb the hospital in Gaza.
His answer:
“Well I can understand why in this circumstance they wouldn’t believe. I can understand that. But, uh, I would not, you’ll notice I don’t say things like that unless I have faith in the source from which I’ve gotten it. Our Defense Department says it’s highly unlikely, that it was Israelis, ihwouldvbeen (slurred) a different footprint, and (we’ve?) intercepted some, anyway, and, uh, so that’s why, if you notice I didn’t say it at first, I wanted to make sure that I knew and, look (pause) I’m not suggesting that hamas deliberately did it either. It’s that old thing, y’gotta learn how to shoot straight…”
I award Joe Biden Quote Of The Day honors because he spoke without notes and was semi-coherent for almost a minute.
It’s better than he usually does.
