Today’s quote comes to us from former President donald trump.

First, speaking of when trump oversaw the killing of Iran’s General qassem soleimani (a man whose violent death was eminently deserved), Trump picked now – with a war in progress to tell us that:
“Israel was going to do this with us, and it was being planned and working on it for months. We had everything all set to go, and the night before it happened, I got a call that Israel will not be participating in this attack.
“Nobody’s heard this story before,” Trump said. “They didn’t tell us why.
“I’ll never forget that Bibi Netanyahu let us down,
“We were disappointed by that. Very disappointed, but we did the job ourselves, with absolute precision … and then Bibi tried to take credit for it.”
But that wasn’t enough. Speaking about the war in progress, trump then said:
“They’ve got to straighten it out because they’re fighting, potentially, a very big force. They’re going to have to step up their game.
“(Netanyahu) was not prepared and Israel was not prepared. Who would have thought their intelligence wouldn’t have been able to pick this up? Thousands of people were involved. Thousands of people knew about it and they let this slip by.”

I award Donald Trump Quote Of The Day (dis)honors for making it clear that his impossibly big ego, and his impossibly big mouth, are uncontrollable. Even during a war, when they can do nothing but damage to the side he supports. Everyone and everything besides him comes second.
