THE QUOTE OF THE DAY

Today’s quote (and I could make him the source for this series just about every day) is President Joe Biden.

Yesterday, while speaking at Prince George Community College in Maryland, while talking about democracy, Mr. Biden said this:

“We got to fight for it.  I taught at the University of Pennsylvania for four years and I used to teach political theory. And folks, you always hear, every generation has to fight for Democracy.'”

Uh….

…as pointed out in Steven M. Lepore’s article for London’s Daily Mail, Biden’s function at UPenn was as  as the Benjamin Franklin Presidential Professor of the Practice (apparently an honorary capacity) from 2017 to 2019 – not for four years.  And  there is no record of him ever teaching any class.

But, then again, since Joe Biden lies just about every time he talks about his past accomplishments, why should this one be any different?  As the article points out:

In recent weeks, Biden has also falsely claimed he was at Ground Zero the morning after the 9/11 terror attacks, that he witnessed a Pittsburgh bridge collapse and that his grandfather died days before his birth.

Biden lies about everything.

Is it because he is just a liar?  Because he is beconing increasingly senile and/or an advancing state of dementia?  Both?  And which of these choices is the good one?

I award Joe Biden Quote Of The Day “honors” for his resourcefulness in finding yet another way to lie to our faces.

Oh, one other thing:  When he said “we got to fight for it”, isn’t that what Donald Trump said in his January 6, 2021 speech? Isn’t that what Democrats are claiming was a call to physical violence rather than just urging people to aggressively (not violently) pursue their beliefs?  How does the meaning of these two exhortations differ?

Just asking….
