Yesterday I reamed Rep. cori bush (D-MO) for her fraudulent retrospective on michael brown, the young thug who was shot and killed by officer Darren Wilson in Ferguson, Missouri on August 9, 2014. In that post I answered bush’s claim that brown was some kind of racial victim by quoting from Ryan Saavedra’s article at dailycaller.com.
But I would like to add my own take on it.
I posted the following facebook commentary on August 10, 2015, one year after the shooting took place – when I was sick and tired of the equally fraudulent spin being put on the incident by all too many of our mainstream media:
A few questions, for the media which never seem to vary from referring to Michael Brown as an “unarmed Black teenager”, and for people marching in the streets of Ferguson demanding “justice for Michael”.
What “justice for Michael” should there be?
Brown was killed by a police officer because, high on pot and just after robbing a store during which he physically intimidated the owner, he physically attacked, or tried to physically attack, Officer Darren Wilson.
Has it occurred to you that a 6′ 4″ 292 lb. male acting in an aggressive manner might be described as something more significant than an “unarmed Black teenager”? Or that an officer being attacked by a 6’4, 292 lb. male might have a legitimate reason to defend himself?
Do you have any doubt at all that, if there were legitimate grounds to see this any other way, the Eric Holder-led Department of Justice, which sent 40 FBI agents to comb the streets of Ferguson looking for evidence, would have been happy to present it?
Have you ever written an article – or even a paragraph – or even a sentence – about justice for Darren Wilson? He is out of a job, and under constant death threats. For doing what? Protecting himself from your hero, Michael Brown?
Those are questions you should think about….if you ever decide to start thinking.
That commentary is as true today as it was when I first posted it.
But there were no retractions from the media which presented this incident so fraudulently…and were, therefore, so responsible for the rioting and mayhem that took place afterwards over michael brown’s non-existent victimization.
And certainly do not expect any retraction from cori bush.
