Today’s quote comes to us from DC-based radio talk show host Larry O’Connor.
Here is Mr. O’Connor’s answer to Rep. Dan Goldman (D-NY), who claimed that during the 20+ calls (who knows how many more there were) between hunter biden and his “clients”, when hunter patched Papa Joe Biden in, they didn’t really talk about business per se, just the weather and stuff like that:
“Understand this: Hunter getting Joe on speakerphone WAS THE DELIVERABLE. It literally doesn’t matter what was discussed. Showing that he could get the Vice President of the United States on the phone was all Hunter had to show his clients to seal the deal. He was selling ACCESS not policy. Getting The Big Guy to pick up the phone demonstrated his ability to deliver that access. Case closed. Impeach.”
Larry O’Connor wins Quote Of The Day honors for getting this dead-on correct, in a way that even the hopelessly baghdad bob-ish Dan Goldman could not come up with a ludicrous answer to.
As for the “impeach” demand? If they’re going to impeach Joe Biden, how about starting with the fact that he had tons of classified material in his possession that was accumulated when he was Vice President and a U.S. Senator.
Donald Trump who, as President, had the power to declassify everything in his home before leaving office, is being railroaded through the legal system anyway. But Joe Biden, who never had any legal right whatsoever to keep classified documents but had them in his home, his office, etc., is being left alone; no charges at all.
You want to impeach? How about starting there. Because, legally, at least, it is a slam dunk….despite the fact that Democrats will no doubt ignore his culpability anyway. At the very least, Republicans can use it to show – again – that, as of right now, there are two very different legal systems in this country.
