Did you know that the house passed legislation that would impose a national ban on abortions (with certain exceptions) after the 20th week?
Did you know that 42 states already have such bans on abortion? Ten of them are 20 weeks, most are 24.
Did you know that most polls show a majority of the country believes abortion should be either more strictly limited than it currently is or banned altogether? Here is the latest example (from CBS News) on the subject:
“Which of these comes closest to your view? Abortion should be generally available to those who want it. OR, Abortion should be available, but under stricter limits than it is now. OR, Abortion should not be permitted.”

Did you know that women are only marginally less pro-choice than men? Here is a Gallup poll from just last year:

Do you know the information posted above? I\’m betting most people know little or nothing about any of it.
And if I\’m right, fault is it? Isn\’t it our media who are entrusted with keeping us informed about information like this – even if the information does not coincide with what most of them personally believe?
One more question: Which do you think more are knowledgeable about — that polls indicate most people want stricter limits on abortion and over 40% of women are pro-choice….or that Chris Christie had lanes on the George Washington Bridge closed down for political reasons (i.e. that he personally orchestrated the lane closings, not that he was cleared by two separate investigations)?
I talk a lot in here about what\’s wrong with our mainstream media. This is why.
