THE POT CALLING THE KETTLE BARACK

You better be sitting down for this one.

President Barack Obama just told an NPR audience this morning of his concern that Wisconsin Governor and possible presidential candidate Scott Walker is not sufficiently knowledgeable on……foreign policy.

Yes, Barack Obama is criticizing someone else\’s foreign policy credentials.

His exact words:

“And, you know, I am confident that any president who gets elected will be knowledgeable enough about foreign policy and knowledgeable enough about the traditions and precedents of presidential power that they won\’t start calling to question the capacity of the executive branch of the United States to enter into agreements with other countries.  It would be a foolish approach to take, and, you know, perhaps Mr. Walker, after he\’s taken some time to bone up on foreign policy, will feel the same way.”

Holy excrement.

A quick reminder:  President Obama became President with exactly zero in the way of foreign policy experience.  And he has given us a 6 year run of foreign policy failures and disasters that would actually be comical if they hadn\’t diminished our standing in the world so much.

Barack Obama criticizing anyone else\’s foreign policy credentials, especially on the basis of not having experience, is like Lady Gaga criticizing a nun for dressing too suggestively.

Oh, in case you\’re wondering how Scott Walker reacted to this broadside, here is the statement he issued:

“President Obama\’s failed leadership has put him at odds with many across the country, including members of his own party, and key allies around the world. Americans would be better served by a president who spent more time working with governors and members of Congress rather than attacking them. Whether it is cutting a bad deal with Iran, calling ISIS the JV squad, or touting Yemen as a success story, Obama\’s lack of leadership has hurt America\’s safety and standing in the world.”

Sounds about right to me.
