Bill Maher is disgusted with the fake news put out by mainstream media. So disgusted he’s calling them out on it….this one time.
The crap posing as news coverage of the COVID-19 crisis we have seen for months has finally gotten to the point where Maher, acccording to quotes I pulled from Sharyl Attkisson’s blog, has said, among other things:
“You don’t have to put hot sauce on a jalapeño”
“Giving a proper perspective isn’t a cover up of the truth; it is the truth.”
“Trump calls you fake news. Don’t make him be right.”
Wow. Bill Maher has discovered that mainstream media are putting out “fake news”. And his concern? That it just might be edifying for President Trump.
Earth to Bill Maher: if you are talking about coverage of the COVID-19 crisis, you are a solid three months late.
And if you are talking about coverage of Donald Trump, you are a solid 3+ years late.
Suddenly noticing this week that there is “fake news” about Donald Trump is like getting splashed once too often at Coney Island and suddenly noticing the Atlantic Ocean exists.
Here’s a thought for you Mr. Maher: how about you listen to yourself. That is, continue to notice the fake news that emanates from these sources. Not just once every blue moon, but on as regular a basis as the fake news occurs.
You do that and I promise to be more impressed by your future ephiphanies than I am about this one.
