Now that President Obama has told us there will be consequences for North Korea\’s hijacking of our freedom of speech, because it didn\’t like an unflattering portrayal of the deranged lunatic kim jung un it has reacted by….cowering? Apologizing? Promising to be more responsible in the future?
Nope.
The state of President Obama\’s credibility is such that North Korea\’s response is to….make more threats.
From the South Korean Yonhap News Agency, we have this:
NorthKorea threatened to carry out ultra-harsh military action on U.S.soil Sunday, one day after U.S. President Barack Obama vowed aproportional response against the North\’s alleged hacking attack intoSony Pictures.
Ina follow-up to the FBI\’s recent hacking accusation against Pyongyang,Obama vowed Friday (U.S time) to “respond proportionally,”hinting at retaliatory action over the communist country\’s allegedhacking attack on the distributor of a controversial movie aboutNorth Korea, “The Interview.”
NorthKorea had been suspected of involvement in last month\’s cyberattackon Sony after the country\’s repeated warnings against the firm\’s planto release the movie, dealing with an assassination plot targetingNorth Korean leader Kim Jong-un.
Well, look at the bright side. North Korea, in this one respect, has joined the preponderance of nations around the world: it does not take anything President Obama says seriously.
Evidently, looking at Russia\’s Putin thumb his nose at Obama for years, Syria\’s al-assad crossing the “red line” Obama laid down, which he then quickly forgot, Iran\’s blatant continuation of its nuclear weapons program in direct violation of the “agreement” it laughingly made with Obama, etc. etc. etc. has had the logical impact.
Simply stated, why would kim jung un believe Barack Obama, when Mr. Obama was full of bull dung every other time?
Two more years of this nightmare. Hold on tight, keep your fingers crossed, and maybe we can get through it.
