I have a simple formula for judging motives. Maybe it will be of value to you:
My formula is — Once is happenstance. Twice is coincidence. Three or more is policy.
-Yesterday, as CNN reported on the terrorist attack on a Jerusalem synagogue, viewers read the words “DEADLY ATTACK ON JERUSALEM MOSQUE”.
Yep, a deadly attack on a mosque. Damn those Jews, terrorizing peaceful Arabs while at prayer.
Except, of course, what actually happened was a deadly attack on a Jerusalem synagogue, which resulted in the deaths of four worshippers and a police officer (so far).
I did not blog about this at the time, because I assumed it to be an honest mistake; a grievous one, but honest.
-Then, when news broke that Israeli forces killed the two Palestinian Arabs who committed this act of terrorism, CNN put up the words: POLICE SHOT, KILLED TWO PALESTINIANS
Yep, the Israeli police shot and killed two Palestinians. Damn those Jews, terrorizing peaceful citizens because they are Arabs.
Except, of course, what actually happened was that the police killed two terrorist murderers before they could murder more innocent people and escape to do it again.
-And, in case the previous disinformation wasn\’t enough; in case there were any doubt about CNN\’s intentions, another CNN headline fleshed it out by saying “ISRAELI GOVT. RADIO: POLICE SHOT, KILLED TWO PALESTINIANS”.
Like I said: once is happenstance, twice is coincidence, three or more is policy. And I find this formula works just about all the time.
Is it telling us anything about CNN? You decide.
